Taipei, Taiwan, December 23, 2010 - IBASE Technology (TASDAQ: 8050), a leading supplier of industrial computers, launches the iPPC-1700 Panel PC, a full featured panel PC supporting IBASE MI953AF Mini-ITX motherboard with Socket G1 (rPGA 989) for Intel® Core™ i7 / Core i5 processors. Delivering high performance and rugged computing, it is suitable for information kiosk, point-of-sales terminal, ATM, digital signage and factory automation systems.
Using a steel construction, the iPPC-1700 panel PC houses a 17" XGA (1280x1024) TFT touch-screen display with 16.7M colors. The touch screen panel conforms to IP65 specifications to protect it against both water and dust. 100mm x 100mm VESA mount and panel mount configurations are supported for easy installation. Two Gigabit Ethernets give it advanced networking functionality and versatility for various applications, while the four serial ports and digital I/O features are useful in industrial solutions.
It features multimedia devices, various connectors, and can be installed in virtually any application. In addition, its user-friendly interface makes it a great host for information appliances. Four serial ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports give the iPPC-1700 advanced networking capabilities, and provide a great solution for versatile applications.
