TAIPEI, TAIWAN, December 27, 2004 - IBASE Technology has been well known in the industrial computer field for shipping the world's first Pentium® 4 IPC motherboard. Today, IBASE has released its MB865 LGA775 industrial ATX motherboard using the Intel® 865G chipset.

With the latest LGA775 processor socket on board, the motherboard is optimized to support high performance Intel® Pentium® 4 and Celeron® D processors with speeds up to 4GHz with 800MHz system bus and Hyper-Threading Technology support. Two on board DDR DIMM sockets fit 2GB of dual-channel DDR 400 main memory.

Based on the Intel® 865G chipset, the MB865 has integrated graphics controller with Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 Technology and Hi-Speed USB 2.0 connectivity to ensure the flexibility and performance needed in a broad range of demanding computing needs. Dual Independent Serial ATA support facilitates high-speed storage with up to 150MB/s transfer rate to keep pace with increasing data intensive environments.

Networking connectivity is provided by a standard 10/100Mbps Ethernet and an optional Intel® 82547GI Gigabit Ethernet controller for faster networking access. As one of the long-life industrial motherboards from IBASE, the MB865 is loaded with other features including four COM ports, watchdog timer, digital I/O, four PCI slots and two ISA slots.
