Designed for multimedia, gaming, POS, kiosk and demanding applications requiring reliable performance, MI953 supports Intel® Core™ i7 and Core™ i5 processors and a maximum of 8GB of non ECC unbuffered DDR3 memory – with DDR3 pegged at 800 and 1066 MHz speeds.
Equipped with Intel® Turbo Boost technology and Intel® Hyper-Threading technology and built on new Intel® 32nm process technology, Intel® Core i7 and Core i5 processors provide users with reliable performance and power efficiency. The Intel® QM57 Express chipset built to accompany on-package graphics processors, enables the IBASE MI953 platform to offer a wide array of display interface connections encompassing VGA CRT, DVI-I, DVI-D and 24-bit dual channel LVDS that will suit your display output requirement.
The 170mm x 170mm MI953 motherboard has all of the essential connectivity features such as ten USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, four SATA II ports and dual Gigabit Ethernet connections, while expansion slots on board include Mini PCI-E, PCI-E and PCI. The built-in high definition 7.1-channel audio is aided by a Realtek ALC888 codec. MI953 samples are available now.
